Why I Love This Baby Oat Muffins For Baby-led Weaning
Baby oat muffins are one of my favorite recipes for baby-led weaning. The best part about this recipe is that it has no banana.
If you don’t have bananas on hand, you can still make and enjoy this baby and toddler oat muffin.
A long time ago when I was looking for easy baby and toddler muffins for my son, I searched all over the internet and found nothing.
Most of the recipes required a lot of extra ingredients I didn’t have on hand. A lot of them contained high amounts of sugar.
We all know that sugar isn’t very good for babies who are less than a year old. In fact, sugar should be avoided as much as possible in childhood.
Because of the trouble I had with finding a good recipe for baby oat muffins, I decided to create my own.

Use Whole Wheat Flour
You can also use whole wheat flour instead of white flour.
Add Nuts or Use Nut Flour
- If you like a nutty flavor in your oat muffin, then add some ground nuts like ground almonds, pistachios, etc.
- You can also buy premade almond flour to use as a replacement for the flour in the recipe. Just make sure your baby is not allergic to these nuts before you add them.
