Don’t mistake pumpkin pie filling for canned pumpkin

Canned pumpkin pie filling looks similar to ordinary canned pumpkins. Don’t mistake the two.

What to serve with BLW pumpkin pasta

Serve pumpkin pasta with chicken

My chicken cutlet recipe is a perfect addition to this pasta for your baby.

Chicken is great for babies to practice chewing with. Chicken also contains iron needed to produce red blood cells.

Adding chicken to your baby’s meals will help ensure a balanced diet.

Serve with a side of fruits

If you want to add to the fall flavor of pumpkins, you can serve this pasta with some fall fruits.

Some commonly available fall fruits are grapes, apples, cranberries, and passion fruits.

I recommend the EZPZ suction bowl from Amazon. I’ve used it will both my kids and they hold up well.

Pasta Tips for Picky Eaters

Don’t pressure

Give your baby or toddler the chance to say no. It’s okay if they don’t like what we serve them. Keep trying. It takes at least 30 exposures for a baby to begin liking a food, so don’t give up.

Try adding their favorite sauce

If your baby or toddler doesn’t like this pumpkin pasta, you can try giving them a sauce they like to dip it in. I can’t tell you how many meals I make that are dipped in ketchup and sesame sauce daily.
